2020 has not become what we all expected from it. The holidays will also be a bit lonelier for everyone than in other years, especially for residents of residential care centers. The Brussels chamber music duo an enCHANTed FLUTE therefore has a proposal. Inspired by the previous years where they performed a Christmas concert in residential care centers, this year they are making a video recording of their Christmas concert. With their concert they want to offer a ray of light, some comfort and hope for a better 2021. The concert offers a balanced alternation of the well-known Christmas carols with the duo's classical repertoire.

 

An enCHANTed FLUTE consists of Paulien Van Overmeire on soprano and Miriam De Wolf on flute. For the occasion, they invited Hiu-Man Chan. The Christmas concert is central to the Christmas repertoire. The well-known songs “Silent Night, Holy Night”, “O pine tree” and “Ave Maria” are featured and alternated with classical music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Camille Saint-Saëns, Claude Debussy, ...
